National Honor Society

LCA participates in the National Honor Society, a national organization established to recognize outstanding high school students, and honors students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

H.O.W. (Helping Our World)

H.O.W. is LCA's humanitarian services club. It regularly finds ways to raises awareness of global issues such as poverty, disaster relief, economic development, etc.

FLAVA (multicultural groups for middle school and high school)

FLAVA celebrates the diverse cultures represented by the community, addresses issues related to predjudice, discrimination, and inequality while working to make all people feel welcomed.

Prefect and Class Leadership

Prefect Leadership enables students to participate in Student Council and grow their leadership skills through serving the student body.  Prefects are chosen to represent, lead, and advocate for an aspect of student life and operate as part of a larger student government.

Middle School Buddy Program

This program pairs high school students with incoming sixth graders in order to help them adjust to their new environment with a friendly face to guide them.

P.I.G. (Peer Issues Group)

The Peer Issues Group hosts various forums and delivers announcements about issues relating to making healthy choices as a teenager. Issues such as drinking and drug use, texting while driving, relationships, etc. are addressed. P.I.G. also runs the Buddy Program (above mentioned).


The ZeroBotX club enters the annual NASA competition to program spheres on the International Space Station. LCA students won 1st Place the first year of competition.

Computer programming

Students with an understanding and passion for computer programming grow their scripting skills in this club.

Chapel Band

This team is comprised of talented signers and musicians who provide music for most Chapel services at LCA.

Rock Climbing

 The gymnasium at LCA features a 2-story rock-climbing wall for use by those wishing to strengthen their physical and focusing skills.

Theatre Productions

Theatre productions at LCA give students the opportunity to utilize their creativity on the stage. Please visit the Theatre Arts page for more info!

Nursing home visits

Middle School students regularly visit the local nursing home where they sing songs and engage in conversation with seniors to brighten their day. It has been found the visits were mutually beneficial.
