Director of Admission: Cynthia Torjesen
My first look at LCA started as a parent looking for a school that was just the right fit for my child. As a former teacher, I was looking for a strong academic program that would prepare students well for college; as a mom I was looking for a place where my child would be known and where his unique qualities would be respected. After looking at many schools, I realized that LCA was just the right place for our family.
Now, in my role as Director of Admission, I am pleased to share with you the many opportunities that students find at LCA. Here, students learn to write well across the disciplines; they are challenged and offered many opportunities – whether through an Interim course, our Concentrations Program, or Senior Internships, students are given the tools to grow and stretch themselves.
Come and visit – our Admissions Team would love to share the LCA story with you and tell you why we believe that LCA could be just the right place for your child!

As soon as I set foot on this campus, I knew LCA was a special place. Here the students are not only bright, talented and driven, but also caring for one another and the world around them. It is a blessing to be a part of the process that brings some of God’s most exceptional children and families to this wonderful school. I can’t wait to continue this journey in the years to come.
