Roys '16 Earns NE-10 Honors

Shae Roys '16, Lady Lions Soccer alum and midfielder for the Southern New Hampshire University Penmen, was recently named to the Northeast 10 Conference All-Rookie Team and 3rd Team All-Conference. Roys scored three goals in her rookie campaign and was the only freshman to start all 19 games for the Penmen. Roys helped guide the Penmen to a 10-8-1 overall record and a 7-6-1 NE-10 Conference record.

The Billerica native was a four-time EIL All-League Selection who led the Lady Lions to an EIL Championship and four NEPSAC Class C Tournament Appearances during her career. Roys was also a Massachusetts Prep All-State Team seletion and two-time National Christian School Athletic Association 1st Team All-American. Roys also excelled at Basketball and Softball during her time at LCA and was a National Honor Society Member.
