Watch the video to meet Cindy Torjesen, Director of International Admissions and Director of Residential Life, and see what life is like as a dorm student at LCA!
LCA's Residence Hall is located on our North Campus, situated on seven acres, and just a half mile from our Main Campus.
The Boarding Program at LCA accommodates both international and domestic students. We offer 5-day and 7-day options to domestic students. International students are required to be full-time boarders.
We are a short drive from Boston. We are the closest boarding school to Logan Airport - just 12 miles away!
Due to the current COVID-19 global pandemic, we are no longer accepting applications for 5-day boarding for the 2020-2021 school year.
5-Day Regional Boarding
Our 5-Day Boarding Program is an option for domestic students who live in New England but outside of the daily commuting range. During the school week, students can participate fully in school activities and have structured time for homework as well as free time for socializing. On the weekend, students return home to spend time with their families.
To better serve our families, we also offer seasonal 5-day boarding options: Fall (Labor Day to Thanksgiving), Winter (December to March break), Spring (March-May). This program is ideal for students who have demanding after school and evening commitments during a particular season. It’s also a great opportunity for juniors and seniors to get a taste of dorm living before heading to college.
5-Day Boarding Students Enjoy:
Shared rooms with 1/2 bathroom en-suite
State-of-the-art accommodations with music practice rooms, an exercise facility, library, and areas for projects and socializing
Three meals daily Monday-Thursday, two meals on Friday
Security cameras throughout campus
Transportation service between campuses

Academic English and Cultural Immersion Program (AECIP) is an 8th grade boarding program specifically designed to help international students develop functional fluency. Our ten-month program helps students prepare for what they will encounter in the best American schools. The curriculum combines core American Studies, Academic English, STEM, and Arts, Music, and Physical Education courses. After completing the AECIP program, students can apply to LCA’s prestigious upper school program.
