Coach Patrie (LCA '03) enters his ninth season as the head coach of the Girls Varsity Soccer program in the fall of 2017. He is a 2008 graduate of Liberty University (VA), where he was a member and captain of the Club Men's Lacrosse team.
A life-long soccer enthusiast, Coach Patrie holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) Class E License and has coached internationally in Kampala, Uganda. Coach Patrie has also participated in the Mass Youth Soccer District Select Program and coached the District 4 U-19 Girls team from 2011-2014. He has a true passion for teaching the “beautiful game” and has been involved in coaching soccer for over 15 years. He has coached the LCA Soccer Camp each of the last eight summers.
His soccer coaching philosophy is a team-based approach with an emphasis on possession, individual technical skills, and team defense. His goal for each participant in the Girls Soccer Program is to grow as soccer players and in character.
His favorite teams include the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National teams, Manchester United, and New England Revolution.
Coach Patrie also serves as Athletic Director at LCA.

Coach Patrie will be in his seventh season with the Girls Varsity Soccer team. No stranger to Lions Soccer, Coach Patrie was head coach of the Boys Middle School team for many years before becoming an assistant coach for the Boys Varsity Soccer team for the 2010 season. With over 25 years of coaching experience across various levels, Coach Patrie brings perspective, experience, and an emphasis on goal keeping technique to the Girls Soccer program. Coach Patrie holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) Class E License, a NSCAA Goal Keeper Level 2 certificate and has directed many successful teams into state tournaments.
A father to three LCA soccer alumni, Ryan '03, Justin '07, Timothy '10, Coach Patrie is a full-time firefighter and EMS responder.
