2017 Girls' Varsity Lacrosse

2016 Season Preview

The Lady Lions’ Lacrosse team has a lot to be excited about heading into the 2016 season. The team will be led by captains Jill Bowdring ’16 and Meaghan Hayes ’16. Both were NEPSAC All-Star selections in 2015 and Hayes scored an incredible 82 goals in 2015. The team also returns NEPSAC All-Star Katie Braga ’16 and seniors Courtney Teehan, Gabriella Rivera, and Marianna Soper. 2nd year Head Coach Brittney Murphy and assistant coach Marley Vazquez ’11 are confident in this team’s ability and athleticism to improve upon a 5-10 record in 2015.

Juniors Kate Horcher, Fikemi Faleye, and Hannah Koizumi along with sophomore Mikayla Cravens will be counted on to step up throughout the upcoming season. The Lady Lions will open their season at home on April 6 against Buckingham, Browne, & Nichols (ISL). Their first EIL contest will be at Dana Hall on April 15.
