The Boarding Program at LCA

LCA's Residential Life Program provides structure, support, and guidance to maximize the educational opportunities for students. The Residential Life Program is committed to providing the highest quality education within a caring and supportive boarding school environment. LCA is a proud member of TABS (The Association of Boarding Schools).

Boarding Program Features:

  • Boarding opportunity for students in grades 9-12
  • Single or double room with 1/2 bathroom en-suite
  • State-of-the-art accommodations with music practice rooms, exercise facility, library, and areas for projects and socializing
  • Weekly laundry service
  • Three meals daily Monday-Friday, and two meals daily on weekends and holidays*.
  • Residence life program, including field trips, activities, and student socials
  • Security cameras throughout campus
  • Transportation service between campuses

Five-Day Boarding Features:

LCA offers a Five-Day Boarding Program extended to families who live outside of the daily commuting range. This program is available to students from grades 9-12.

  • Shared room with 1/2 bathroom en-suite
  • State-of-the-art accommodations with music practice rooms, exercise facility, library, and areas for projects and socializing
  • Three meals daily Monday-Thursday, two meals on Friday
  • Security cameras throughout campus
  • Transportation service between campuses

Academic English and Cultural Immersion Program (AECIP)

AECIP is an 8th grade boarding program specifically designed to develop functional fluency in international students, while our rigorous and interactive academic culture helps students prepare for what they will encounter in the best American schools. AECIP is a nine month-long course of studies designed for 8th graders planning to attend American upper schools. The curriculum combines core American Studies, Academic English, STEM and Arts/Music/Physical Education courses.

* Boarding dates exclude Thanksgiving, Christmas, March Spring Break (2 weeks), and the Summer Break.

I have the unique opportunity to serve as the Resident Life Director at LCA's Boarding Facility.  With students coming from all over the world, I have hopes of helping to create a unified community, by bridging the cultural and language barriers.  I would like to mentor these young men and women and help to make their transition to boarding life as easy as possible.
