Need-Based Financial Aid
LCA is dedicated to having a diverse and talented student body and is committed to providing financial aid to qualifying students in the form of grants that do not need to be repaid. It is difficult to predict whether a particular family will qualify for financial aid, as circumstances vary widely and the overall demand for financial aid varies from year to year.
LCA's Financial Aid Committee follows the guidelines of the School and Student Service (SSS) for Financial Aid, a third party organization which analyzes the financial situation of applicants based on a number of factors including income, assets, and how many students you have in a tuition-paying school. We carefully compare the guidelines from SSS and the amount of funds that we have available for grants and then we make decisions about awards.
Once financial aid is granted to a particular student, the Academy commits to granting a proportional level of aid for each year that the student is enrolled at the Academy; provided that there is not a major change in the family’s financial status that alters a family’s previously demonstrated financial need.
All families wishing to be considered for financial aid must complete the full application process for each academic year, regardless of whether your family financial situation has changed.
Please be aware that financial aid awards are time sensitive and any materials received after the established dates will be processed on a rolling basis, subject to available funding.
