Mr. Miles Strodel - Coach, Mentor, Headmaster

Headmaster, Athletic Director, Teacher, and beloved basketball coach. As our first inductee, Miles epitomized the Christian values, discipline, and spirit of the LCA experience. Miles began coaching at Lexington Christian Academy, then known as Christian High School, at just 21 years of age. Throughout his tenure as the boys varsity basketball coach, he led his teams to win the Bay State Championship several times over, and achieve remarkable success on the court. While his winning record is impressive, perhaps more impressive are the lessons that he succeeded in teaching his athletes and students.

In his own words…

“A person who does not believe in anything will never achieve excellence. What do you believe in, and how ardently do you believe it? This is a timely question. As you graduate from Christian High School, it is my heartfelt desire that every motivation and area of your thought-life will be centered in the revelation and person of Jesus Christ. A foundation erected upon the eternal Word of God will enable you to live triumphantly in a society of materialism and advance God’s kingdom in a most difficult age.”
