Athletics Hall of Fame

The Athletics Hall of Fame was created at Lexington Christian Academy in the winter of 2005.  The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to recognize the outstanding accomplishments, efforts, and abilities of student-athletes, coaches, and boosters from throughout the history of Lexington Christian Academy.  It is with much enthusiasm that we recognize the tremendous legacy of our athletic programs, acknowledging God’s blessings over our participants throughout the years.  

Necessary Qualifications for Nominees

Former Players

• Must have attended LCA for at least 2 years prior to graduation
• Must have graduated from LCA
• Must be at least 10 years removed from graduation date
• Created a quality record of character and citizenship while enrolled at LCA
• Demonstrated a consistent respect and loyalty to the mission of LCA and the athletics program
• Established distinctive records of achievement in athletics that are worthy of recognition

 Former Coaches

• Must have coached at LCA for at least 15 years, or have ended coaching at LCA for a minimum of 5 years
• Created a good record of character and citizenship as a member of the coaching staff
• Demonstrated a consistent respect and loyalty to the mission of LCA and the athletics program
• Established distinctive records of achievement in athletics that are worthy of recognition

 Boosters

• Have made unique contributions to LCA Athletics for a minimum of 2 years
• Demonstrated a consistent respect and loyalty to the mission of LCA and the athletics program

Nomination and Selection

Nominations will be accepted from all Christian High School/Lexington Christian Academy alumni, or current and/or former faculty/staff members.  Nominations are valid for a maximum of 3 years, at which point nominees need to be re-nominated.  Questions can be directed to LCA Athletic Director Jeannine Cavallaro at jeannine.cavallaro@lca.edu.

The Hall of Fame Selection Committee is made up of 9 members.  This committee reviews nominations, verifies qualifications, and recommends new inductees to the Head of School for approval.

Deadline for nominations each year are due by May 1st. Announcement of inductees will be at the beginning of each school year, with the awards ceremony scheduled for the Saturday evening of each LCA Homecoming Weekend.
