Director of Auxiliary Programs: Scott Stevens
As a graduate of Lexington Christian Academy (87’), Mr. Stevens is very excited about the opportunity to serve full time on staff at LCA and feels as if he has returned home to a place that has been such a blessing in his life. Over the last 20 years Mr. Stevens has worked at LCA in a variety of roles, including coaching Girl’s Basketball; Boy’s Basketball; Boy’s Lacrosse; Boy’s Soccer and starting and coaching the LCA Girl’s Soccer Program in 1993. Mr. Stevens currently serves the school in the role of Student Life Director as well as Director of Auxiliary Programs. He has worked at LCA’s Meadow Breeze Day Camp for 25 summers in various capacities and is currently the Camp’s Director.
Kristen is a head counselor of the Gazelles. She has taught for three years and is currently teaching 5th grade at Abundant Life Christian school. This was Kristian first year with Meadow Breeze, she enjoys the adventurous and exciting spirit of the Gazelles.
Jessie DupreJessie graduated from LCA in 2009 and is the head counselor of the Geese. She is very excited to be working at camp for her 6th year. During the school year, Jessie is a 5th grade science and social studies teacher for Lynn Public Schools. She is also working on her Master’s Degree at Gordon College.
Jacki is the head counselor of the Giraffes and helps run Extended Day. Jacki began her time at Meadow Breeze as a camper and loves that she is able to give back to a camp that she loves so much! This is her 11th year as a counselor at Meadow Breeze. While not at Meadow Breeze, Jacki teaches 1st grade at Abundant Life Christian School.
Megan graduated from LCA in 2005. This is her 8th year working Meadow Breeze Day Camp. She has worked with the Badgers, Bears and CIT’s and is currently excited to be working with the Greyhounds. While not at camp, Megan teaches 6th grade science and history at Covenant Christian Academy.
Debbie is head counselor of the Badgers. This is my 3rd year working as a Head Counselor at Camp MeadowBreeze. I work full time at Kelley Elementary School in Chelsea,Ma. as a Paraprofessional for first grade, and periodically substitute for 2nd to 4th grade. I also Tutor 4th-grade math after school. Deb has 4 years experience in Nanny work for children ages 2, 4 and 7.
Amy is the head counselor of the Bears. She is a fun loving energetic person who loves kids! Currently, She is also a Teachers Aide and Assistant After School Coordinator at Abundant Life Christian. She does a ton of babysitting through an agency. She has 15 years of experience working with kids.
Steve is the head counselor of the Bisons. He was also a founding member of the octagon a game that will some day revolutionize camps everywhere - he also enjoys dodgeball basketball and four square! He is a Basketball coach for the boys and girls from 6 y/o to seniors in highschool for the past 10 years. He is happily married to his wife Angelle and have 5 beautiful children.
After a great summer last year, Noah is returning to Meadow Breeze for a second year of great fun as Head Counselor for the Bobcats. During the school year, Noah teaches Sophomores and Juniors in the Theology Department at LCA. He loves the New England outdoors and is ready for another great adventure at Meadow Breeze this summer.
Lenny is the head Bucks counselor. He grew up in Brooklyn, NY and moved to MA three years ago to pursue a PhD at Brandeis University in ancient Semitic Language and Cultures. Prior to moving to MA, Lenny worked as a Social Worker for two years at an Elementary School in Brooklyn. In addition to his professional experience with children, Lenny has also done volunteer work as a youth counselor for junior high and high schoolers. Lenny and his wife Stephanie have two beautiful children. This will be Lenny's third summer. He loves the Yankees, Knicks and the Giants. He is looking forward to another summer at MBDC, where he will once again try to convert the Bucks into NY sports fans.
Kathy Oliver teaches Creatives at Meadow Breeze. She has been teaching at LCA since 1982. She has taught Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science and Biology. Her passion is for students to love to make discoveries! At Meadow Breeze, campers will not even realize how much they are learning as they are wowed by the labs and demonstrations.
Amy Chaney teaches Creatives at Meadow Breeze. Amy LOVES games, and enjoys helping students learn to strategize and work together as a team. During the school year, Amy teaches Art and Spanish at LCA. She is also the Director of Student Ministry at Harbor of Hope Christian Church. Amy earned her BFA from the University of Notre Dame, and her MFA from the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. She lives in Westford with her husband, precious daughter Charlotte, and two dogs Hope and Mercy.
I joined the Meadow Breeze Day Camp team last Summer. My husband Rob works at LCA, and my older son will be returning this fall for his senior year. Jack, my younger son, will join LCA for sixth grade this fall! I love the energy and the light I feel from the wonderful children and staff here!
