Athletic Facilities

LCA's athletic facilities reflect a commitment to excellence in each aspect of the athletics program.  The indoor facilities provide an ideal setting for athletic competition, while the outdoor complex features 30 acres of beautiful and serene territory. 

LCA has hosted many post season tournaments on its home courts, courses and fields.  These include Eastern Independent League and New England Prep School Athletic Council tournaments as well as Cross Country league meets, Girls Lacrosse league tournaments, and the New England Prep School Wrestling Tournament.

Kirk Ware Fields (On Campus)

Soccer, Field Hockey, Cross Country, Baseball, Lacrosse

Three full-size field spaces allow soccer, lacrosse, and baseball practices and games to occur in a quality setting.  The Arlington Great Meadow Conservation area adjoins the fields and provides a fabulous training and race venue for cross country.  (The Cross Country team has established a collaborative relationship with the non-profit Friends of Arlington Great Meadow, helping to maintain trails and partner in various service projects.)

Miles M. Strodel Gymnasium (On Campus)

Basketball

The Miles M. Strodel Gymnasium was renovated only four years ago, and serves as the main home of the LCA basketball teams in the winter season.  It holds both a full size competition court and a practice court to simultaneously hold games and practices. 

The Strodel Gymnasium also holds both LCA's state-of-the-art Climbing Wall and a batting cage.  The wall is utilized by LCA's Climbing Club as well as the Meadow Breeze Day Camp.  The batting cage is used frequently by both the Baseball and Softball programs. 

Activities Center (On Campus)

Wrestling

The Wrestling teams compete in LCA's Activity Center, an outstanding and spacious facility that welcomes both teams and spectators.  If LCA is hosting a quad meet, the venue will be the Miles M. Strodel Gymnasium. 

Harrington School Fields (Off Campus)

Softball

As of the spring of 2008, all home games for Middle School and Varsity Softball are played at the Harrington School, located less than a mile down the road from LCA.  The fields are located in the back of the school.

Turner Hill Country Club & Patriot Golf Course (Off Campus)

Golf

LCA's Varsity Golf team plays at both Patriot Golf Course in Bedford and the prestigious Turner Hill Golf Club in Ipswich.  Turner Hill has hosted the league tournament, and is considered one of the finest private courses in Massachusetts.  The schedule of facility location can be found on the Golf Team's webpage.
