Meet the Faculty

Ms Christmas is a Special Education Paraprofessional, Tutor, and Coach. She has been teaching since 2001, but took a 5 year hiatus deciding to change her Army Reserve status to Active Duty. She served on Active duty in New Hampshire as an Army Reserve Career Counselor from October 2005 until September 2010 when she returned to the LCA family.

Ms Christmas was born and raised in Massachusetts and attended LCA from 1992-1996 where she was a 3 season athlete and notably, the first female athlete to play on the boys Varsity Baseball team. From there she went on to Eastern Nazarene College where she studied Education and played Basketball and Softball.  She is currently working on an M.Ed in School Counseling from Liberty University. She has taught Middle School Special Ed, Elementary Special Ed, and Middle School Math. She also has coached JV Basketball and Varsity Softball before going Active Duty Army.  She is an active Youth Leader at her church and leads the Youth Praise and Worship Band “Outlier”.

She has an older brother and sister-in-law who are also an alums of LCA (1992/ 1993) and a wonderful niece and nephew. In her spare time, Miss Christmas enjoys reading, music, sporting events/activities, and long walks on the beach.
